"Best cakes I've ever had, everytime I have gotten one for an event everyone raves over how beautiful AND delicious it is.The staff are incredibly great to deal with, going above and beyond to make sure everything is what you want it. "Don't even think about it. Jump in your car and come on over ASAP. Hands-down this is the best shawarma in Calgary. All the meats are Charcoal roasted and Pitas are made fresh all day long. If you love quality and awesome food this is your new favourite. Don't forget to order the zaatar fries."

"Verya will remind the patron how a self-made person looks. She is the founder of the restaurant. Their welcoming nature with open arms shows their hospitality skills. She's kind but solid. She's human, but she has business. Her son Manas is distinguished by culinary craftsmanship. His food is beyond faith. And if she has her smile, his cooking skills are versatile. I would recommend this place for those looking for the perfect nutritious, healthy and lush meal."

"When the food is so good you forget to take a group photo. Finally made it to @vonderfels with @its_lmjf @ariacamie for one of the best dinners of my life The nice thing about eating with friends and sharing is that you can order more! [1] Sausage Stuffed Morels with fresh peas and a poached egg: this was so fresh and had the right balance of salt and umami. The egg was perfect and soft [2] Tempura Green Tomato Mortadella sandwiches: the tomato was nice and firm and a bit tart, the mortadella was salty and smooth, and the tempura crust was crispy and light [3] Wild Squid with haskap aguachile: the most perectly cooked squid I have ever had. So tender, and the tempura tentacles were crispy and chewy and light. The aguachile was the best part sweet with a hint of spice, and roasted tomatoes and cucumber for freshness [4] Miso Sablefish with tempura , artichokes, and matsutake beurre blanc: I will dream about this dish for a long time. The sablefish was flaky and moist with a crispy crust, the prawns were light and stayed crispy, and we nearly drank the sauce [5] Ribeye with armanagc peppercorn sauce: I am so glad I added this after wondering if we had enough food. A perfect medium rare, the steak melted in my mouth and I could have drunk the gravy [6] Ginger Yuzu Panacotta with Rhubarb Granita this was a surprisingly light dessert and the perfect end to our meal. The panacotta was smooth and creamy and was balanced well the rhubarb granita I wish we could eat here again but we will definitely follow these chefs to their next place!"

"I am vegetarian and so finding food that I really enjoy can sometimes be a challenge! But not at Marko’s!! The food was excellent, having both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect and the hospitality was second to none! Would definitely recommend Marko’s for anyone who wants to try home cooked meals that taste just like your mom or baba make!Vegetarian options: The menu is full of vegetarian options! I had the white bean soup and cabbage salad and it brilliant. Full of flavour, filling and very much reminded me of home!"

"Food was really nice and a very nice diner aesthetic. The food came out pretty fast. I've got the tuna melt sandwich and I wasn't sure if I should close it like a sandwich because they gave me a fork and a knife. As you eat, it was good. The inlaid ginger was also a beautiful cut of freshness. Def recommend! Service: Dine in"
