What Dejah Douglas doesn't like about Tim Ho Wan:
Tasty food, dishes are above average for Sydney, but they use too much MSG - an amount that is hard to handle for any MSG intolerance.
Grief
BBQ pork breads were probably the choice of dishes, but much sweeter than the HK version, eats almost like a dessert. View all feedback. What Maiya O'Connell likes about Tim Ho Wan:
This place is great. Like a traditional Chinese yum Cha but can order to order so piping hot and fresh. Speciality pork buns are particularly good. Prices are slightly higher (looks like same normal price but only 3 pieces) - I am happy with that. Can't wait to go back. Few queues but clear fairly quickly and worth that slight wait.
