What JRSimons likes about Martellas:
We have been using M fir many years we have never received anything else but good food and excellent customer service. An old fashioned fish and chips shop and we cannot recommend them highly enough and we can’t wait for lockdown to ease up totally and spend time sitting in the Cafe part of the shop and eat our Friday meal again. I just asked for a bag of chips. They only told me AFTER I HAD PAID that I would have to wait! Shouldn 't they warn you BEFORE you pay, so you can make an informed decision about whether you want to wait? Then they ask salt vinegar? . "The staff is very attentive and helpful and super nice. the kitchen staff make some delicious food, seriously can not mistake what is served, but they must have the waiter notes regarding what the customer does not want on their teller. that's really important. the wee is not very expensive a decent cab sav £21 ish. the desserts a warm cheesecake (taste like biscoff) with ice. first we were not sure how we never had warm cheesecake, but it works. a portion was great for both of us. If I could give you a advice, I'll give you a tear than a gift. I can't cry or eat kartoffels, but everything was either with pasta or with kartoffels, unless they wanted a light bite salad. I would have thrown it out instead of wasting food that I can't eat and eating only half a dish!"
