I was just once, but it was my least pleasant time in a wagamama, partner had katsu curry with sincean, which really went soggy
Lots of great vegan options again clearly labelled on the menu. Allergen menu also available which is easy to use.
Really good vegan options- plenty of choice and flavour. Variable service
Having dined at numerous Wagamama restaurants, I was thrilled to see one open in Chelmsford. However, my experience so far has been disappointing. When ordering for delivery or collection, the wait times are usually quite long, often exceeding 30 minutes. Consequently, the katsu curry is often overcooked and tough, while the sweet potato frequently lacks freshness. I can't say if dining in improves the situation, but if you're searching for a familiar chain with a few vegan options, it might still be a suitable choice.
I will always appreciate a good Wagamama. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the generous portions make it worth it, and the food is absolutely delicious.
