What Jason Mckenzie doesn't like about Cafe 12:
Really great food- really terrible politics. From a stealthily placed 3% sticker in the back, to the racist, Big Lie propaganda poster they hung on the front counter the day after they opened from the Jan 6 insurrection. People should know where their money is going when patronizing business that hate America. View all feedback.
Very charming, intimate atmosphere. Real cutlery, real dishes--not plastic. Very clean. Food prepared nicely. Menu offers many choices. I will go again.
I do like this place and come often however the woman who takes the orders has no personality in my opinion. Very monotone and always feel like I am bothering her. Again food is great though!

Excellent variety breakfast, lunch, beverages and baked goods, even offer take away dinner options!! Had the Rachael and BBQ Turkey, delicious!!! Will now be a regular stop for breakfast and lunch. Very pleasant staff.
Pros: Nice lil spot. Food was very good, staff are friendly. Also, they're very proactive about food allergies and gluten intolerance. So that's a huge plus for anyone with those issues. Coffee was good and strong too. Handicap accessible with a nice ramp outside the door.Cons: The decor reminds me of an Airbnb host who stopped at Ocean State Job Lot right before putting up their disused in law suite for rental. Very blah and low effort. Also the breakfast sandwich I got had way more egg in it than meat or veggies. That's more of a preference thing though, because it was still a delicious well made sando. There's no place to properly lock up your bike even though it's right next to the rail trail unless you want to lock it on the handicap rail, which isn't great for the handicapped folks.
