"Sat outside in the courtyard and service was really slow. I ordered a side of Rye toast so that I could have it with my eggs (should already come with eggs but anyway) it took them agessss to bring out one piece of toast, by this point my food was already cold to enjoy it with toast. Long story short, they charged me $7 for one thin piece of rye bread. $7!!!!!! That is an absolute joke and I’m not happy jan. Daylight robbery at its finest. Their excuse for the toast taking long to come out was that they were busy... it wasn’t even busy and how long does it really take to toast some bread?!"

"Went here with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day dinner. We were only given the option to order off of the $90pp set menu unless we had allergies to seafood, where they said they’d make an exception for the entree. However, after ordering, tables next to us were given the option to order off of the normal menu. On top of this, we were charged $13 for mineral water! Maybe this experience comes down to being naive, but I feel I was taken advantage of by the staff. Food was ok but not worth the price. Won’t be coming back."

"So had a booking for 6:30 last night , they took our order 3 of us at 6:55, they brought two meals at 7:30 forgot mine completely , after coming down realizing what they done they went and got my meal almost eight o clock , not good enough Ferntree Thai , you have lost customers for sure , will not be going back ."

"We enjoyed the set menu with some alterations. Overall, the food was good, but I would advise the selection of individual dishes or seafood/meat platters. The dips served with warm bread were very good tarama, hommus, tsatziki, eggplant. Zucchini chips and chargrilled vegetables were great vegetables glazed in balsamic and fig infusion, definitely order with meat dishes. The seafood component consisted of blue eye which was great and would be ordered separately in future; calamari was okay, certainly nothing special, would advise trying chargrilled than fried. Prawns were good as one should expect; next time would order scallops which come with the seafood platter. The meat platter didn’t wow me; with the exception of the lamb cutlets, once again order separately. The gyros was so so, needs more seasoning; ie. oregano, salt; the spicy sausage I thought was disappointing, not worth ordering in future. The desserts provided were good, certainly good for a sweetooth, perhaps a little overpowering for those who don’t like things overly sweet. The service was attentive and of a good standard, would recommend this restaurant but don’t opt for set menu, order separate dishes or a seafood platter with chargrilled calamari."
