Very busy coffee shop in the heart of Cheltenham. We didn't try any of the food offerings but did stop in for an afternoon coffee break. It was packed and there was a line to order. Friendly staff, warm finishings (physically and ambiance). My gingerbread chai latte was very sweet but I was able to water it down with more milk. View all feedback.
What foodlover079 doesn't like about Black Gold Cafe:
Nice friendly staff and nice coffee. The first three items we ordered were off the menu were only served at the weekend. We opted for Tuna Panini and Cheese and Tomato Toastie. Both could have done with a lot more cooking both just luke warm and in parts cold. They seem to have the equipment but maybe not the training View all feedback.
Huge product range, eating and drinking, friendly, courteous staff and cozy atmosphere. can not recommend enough, especially chocolate orange milkshake.

5 stars are not enough for this beautiful coffee shop. friendly and helpful staff, beautiful atmosphere. that was great. a beautiful selection of fresh cakes, with some unusual flavors like bananas and zimt, lemon and oldest, along with victoria sponge, coffee cake, carrot cake, brownies and more. we had delicious paninis and the coffee was really excellent. the coffee was really tasteful. they can taste a genuine mix of sweet and fruit elements, perfectly roasted. I wish I could drink it every day. when they come to cheltenham, they have to try.
I had breakfast here and it was really nice! the place is cozy and differs from all other coffee chains, offers various types of sitting and tables depending on what they prefer. Once they enter, they can see all their amazing cakes and some bagels and sandwiches. the staff was friendly and fast, they pay immediately and then enjoy their meal at the table.
Huge range of products, both food and drink, friendly, accommodating staff and a comfy, cosy atmosphere. Can't recommend enough, especially the chocolate orange milkshake.
