What OliveYouTwo doesn't like about Strand:
Went here for their bingo night recently. Pretty average pub although the staffing of the bar was lacking in both speed and presence often there was nobody behind the bar. Bingo was alright although bordering on the shambolic with almost no dabbers available and the MC randomly wandering off to chat to patrons in the middle of number draws. View all feedback.
The staff at this restaurant are always friendly and polite. I want to give a special shoutout to Bret who was happy to serve us even though it was close to closing time. He's a legend!
We stopped at this restaurant with some friends during a road trip for lunch and we really enjoyed it. Despite the rain, the beer garden looked fantastic. We experienced some confusion with a meal, but the staff were very helpful and kind in resolving the issue. I would definitely recommend this place.
Went for Sunday roast, very disappointing, beef was over cooked, roast potatoes was also over cooked, veggies were very sparse. Will not be visiting again soon
Fantastic range of beers and ciders. Really nicely looked after pub. Beer garden was nice if not exactly picturesque
Ordered a Roast. Very thin lamb, two roast potatoes, one parsnip and a single slither of carrot....
