What User likes about Chalet:
Five stars. You wouldn't think that the best omelet I have ever had came from a road side diner in the middle of Eastern Oregon, but it did! Surprisingly great food, the waitress was amazing made me feel like old school family the prices were completely reasonable. Thanks for the stopping point, we will be back again. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Chalet:
We were a group pf 4 travelers driving from Eugene to Crater Lake and stopped here for dinner. My husband and I both ordered the soup and salad. The beef vegetable soup was home-made and quite tasty. The salad was bland. It only had lettuce and one slice of tomato. My husband had a beer and I had a soda and our bill was $30 with tip. Service was average. View all feedback.

"Stopped here in chemult to tired to drive.motel is cheap nothing to brag about.we had to go across the street to pay for the room.what a great little restraint and bar.suprise! There are slot machines ! After a great breakfast,I won 1,500.00 dollars on a penny machine!..so if your in chemult,Oregon stop in and enjoy the wonderful food and gamble a little."

"Breakfast was great! Our food came out as soon as it was ready so it was nice and hot. The chicken fried steak was nice and crispy on the outside while tender on the inside. Over medium eggs cooked perfectly yolk runny whites done. My husband ordered the corned beef hash. He told me it was the best he'd ever had.The restaurant was clean and cozy. Nice and clean restroom as well."

"Wow, this restaurant does not need to return again! I ate here a few years ago and remember that it is a good experience. not so recently. first the sign at the door said something like: “Masks are necessary, but it is not my rule.” okay. wear a mask or not? go in to check it because the rules vary from place to place. happy to fulfill; They just need to know. we were greeted by a very rude “you must wear a mask to be here!” okay, so my mom and I have followed it. my mother ordered a simple hot dog with scabbard and swirl. She said twice. her hotdog came with a bottle of scavenging. she asked again for swirling, and the guy said there were no wobbles that he could not say when she ordered. I asked, “You haven’t chopped up there?” no. seriously? many elements on the menu included tweak! the French dip had a strange taste and also the pommes, like perhaps the oil you had to change. we were not served with a cute so that I had my fries immersed in ketchup with my fingers. neither of us ended our meal. sad, it was a great street diver."

"Try the Big Ugly! I didn't, but I heard stories about it, it's a legend. I had to settle on Mt. Thielsen. It was a perfect burger. They only use Oregon grass fed beef. I mean, I love complaining about companies when they earn it, but it needs more motivation to leave a good review because companies are supposed to do things well as they take our money as customers. I had to leave here a review where it was probably due. An atmosphere that is only in the middle of... nowhere."
