"This started out nicely and became our restaurant of choice in Mamallapuram, mainly because it a clean, cool environment which served food which was safe and clean. Biriyani was very nice as are the various veg curries which we tried extensively. Last meal was a...small disappointment, as our biriyani was on the cold side, but otherwise generally reliable food. Service was excellent and very attentive. We would recommend this for western travellers who wan't a safe choice."

"We went there as a family for dinner with reservation. We looked into the a la carte and are not too much excited about the options. It's regular breads, salads, south /north indian and some desserts. Probably because there were a lot of non-indians among the crowd they preferred to serve them indian dinner, so we opted out, not because we don't like it there, but because we were in a different taste in the tongue :D The a la carte menu is pretty wide spread starting from continental, indian, chinese, thai, japanese and stopped there. I don't know if there was any Hawaiian because that must be the next stop, lol. We eat veg and we loved the dishes. We ordered dimsum, veg platter (tikki, continental boiled and marinated etc. Overall the experience in great. We loved the ambience, quietness, the waters next to the table and the dim lighting. It's perfect, slowed us down from a busy day and also the breeze is awesome. If you are sitting outdoors in the restuarant don't forget to notice the extra stars in the sky that you won't see from chennai anyways :D. It's worth a try and value for money if you have this zomato gold."
