"Decided to try Ty Briez as we were in the Tourlaville area and had noticed the positive TA reviews. Easy enough to find and if you use public transport, bus number 3 stops just a few meters away on the same road and runs... every 15 minutes. We were cordial to a Thursday lunch. Although the menu has a very strong emphasis on Crepès, there are other dishes such as duck or steak. Good quality food, I can recommend the Crepè Fermier chicken, cream and mushrooms. Adequate selection of wines from the glass carafe, less so from the bottle, but we still had a great Bourgogne blanc. Large selection of sweet crepès also available. I notice some other reviews have suggested that the owners are a little rude, but we did not find that at all. They were kind and tried to speak English as a response to us, doing our best to communicate in French. Would definitely return if I wanted an informal relaxed meal."

"Lamentable The tone is fast. The waitress is not professional at all but we quickly understand why. The boss preaches her in front of the clients all the time. Later, I point out to the waitress that my plate’s sauce was gently dressed on the ground leaving a large trace of fat visible on my shoe. We note distinctly that she informs the boss of this. This one doesn’t seem to worry about it. When he ends up passing through our table, I tell him again. He plays the surprise then provokes it and asks me what I’m waiting for. Apologies would have been the minimum, a much more appropriate gesture. Las, I'm leaving this messy place."
