Great small town Iowa bar. No frills. Some taps, lots of cans and bottles and some homemade pizza 's I wish I 'd gotten to try. My group of urbanites stuck out to some degree but we were quickly made to feel welcome nonetheless. Closed the bar with some klondike bars. Shout out to Rich and his bartender for their hospitality. Stopped during my travels. Nice place cool atmosphere but priced as if you were downtown des moines. 6 dollars for a crown and 1.50 for pool I don't know anywhere but here that charges more then a buck for the table View all feedback.
I had the pleasure of being a guest in this bar. Great staff, terrific owner the clientele is just as great! Will definitely be back!

Best home town bar!! Owners and staff are amazing!! If ur looking for a no drama place, brightside is the place to go!!
They are still obsessed with masks. Get with the times already Gasthaus has better drinks anyway
