"I’m a self professed bbq snob and even told the waitress this. I smoke my own meat so very picky. I was very impressed. Had the brisket with incredible bark and smoke ring. The ribs were perfectly cooked with a great dry rub. The burnt ends baked beans were fantastic. The only disappointment was the mac and cheese which wasn’t the traditional cheesy mac I’m a fan of. Service by Carrie was amazing!"

"Yes, we have coffee in our cabin on the road. but sometimes it's nice to go to the city and get some real special coffees at a friendly place. Warmer and friendly owner looking for the sculpture of the little girl with so much fun. I suppose she had enjoyed a coffee before she started playing."

"Loved the diner feel. You place your order at the counter and they deliver it out. The cheese sticks were great and the pizza was delicious. They also have great salads. My 5 year old loved the kid spaghetti and meatballs. The staff was great and they went above and beyond to make me a delicious spicy jalapeno margarita."

"We visited bryson city for the first time, and based on previous reviews, we decided to eat lunch at high test deli. our meals and interactions with very friendly staff have not disappointed! everyone there was very friendly and appreciates local support from their business. the portions were perfect, and all our meals were delicious. we tried various aromes of their milkshakes, and we couldn't decide which we liked best. I would recommend this restaurant for everyone in the surrounding opposites to stop and try their sandwiches during the lunchtime!"

"Cafe Italiano wasn’t my first or even my second choice during my stay in the town Maggie Valley, but my initial selections were closed and thank goodness for that, because this place was amazing! Located in a quaint cluster of shops, it might seem like another tourist trap roadside attraction, but what they’ve got cooking there is delicious! I opted for the Pizza Romano topped with Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Beef, and CRISPY Bacon; having sampled legendary pizzas from across the USA during the pandemic, my tastes have become even more discerning…so take it from a pizza aficionado: the hand tossed crust has the perfect balance between crunch and chew and the cheese toppings were ample. But the piece de resistance here are the homemade hot sauces they developed to compliment the pizzas! The Hot Garlic married well with the crust, and the Hot and Tangy really brought out the smokiness of the bacon and sauce. Needless to say, I bought a bottle of each to take home! Round all this out with the divine Lemon Creme Cake which was a light, sweet, lemon revelation and I left as one truly satisfied camper. Oh, and the service? Very friendly and attentive in my experience! Recommended!"
