What Anita Luna doesn't like about Alvarez Mexican:
The restaurant formerly known as Alvarez has changed its name. The food was mediocre and we were charged for water. The hard corn tortillas served were pre-packaged and not fresh. The tacos did not come with cilantro or onions, and we had to pay extra for salsa or hot sauces. Additionally, there were store-bought bottles of habanero hot sauce on the table. Loved how nice the people there we're. Definitely going to be going back.
Service was fine, but the food was bland. No spice at all and the salsa was almost like tomato sauce. Could be good if they spiced things up better.
Worse food. We dined in party of 8 people only one basket of chips and small bowl of sauce (wasn’t a salsa). Cold and tasteless food. Worse food and worse service. This was first and last visit. Made a wrong decision of going to this restaurant.
Something has changed here, not as good as it used to be. The food had no flavor. ?
