After visiting Beeston Castle, we came here for lunch. You walk in and there is a big open fire roaring away and it’s open plan but cosy and oldey world tall at the same time! The food was yummy. Only snag was that in our group was a vegetarian (not that this was a problem to me) but to her she had only one choice. So if you’re a veggie probably not the best choice! Just not the same! The staff don’t seem to know what is going on! The food used to be amazing here but sadly the steak and chips isn’t great these days! The atmosphere has changed considerably!
