We booked the back room for a get together with family and friends and Steve the landlord provided a lovely buffet. It was the perfect venue with a nice beer garden and steps to seating by the canal. It was all ready for us and Steve was really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Ordered a half of Osset White Rat. Was served it in a glass with a dead fly on the rim and black gunge on the rest of the rim. Pointed this out to the barman who offered to change to a fresh glass. Fair enough. But then proceeded to pour beer from dirty glass into clean glass. I politely requested fresh beer in the fresh glass, at which point senior barman told me to leave!
