In nice weather you can even be served in the outdoor area, And into the accessible spaces also come customers with wheelchairs or physiological limitations.

Visited yesterday as we were in the area. Agree with the comments of the reviewer from May who stated that the taste is not as good. I agree with them that the quality of the ingredients has dropped. Whilst the ice cream is the same, I had the honeycomb option and there was not even one small piece of honeycomb in it and absolutely no honeycomb taste. "Visited with my elderly mum who has mobility difficulties. We had had a very difficult and slightly traumatic day and my mum and I desperately needed a sit down and a cup of tea and something to eat as we'd had to miss lunch as...well. We managed to park pretty much right outside as my mum has a blue badge, although there is parking for anyone for 30 mins. Not long but maybe enough for a cuppa and cake! The staff were very welcoming and friendly and extremely thoughtful and assured us that it would be fine to get a sandwich and a pot of tea even though it was 3.30 when we got there and they closed at 4pm. The food was lovely and fresh and the cake very good and we loved the way it was served on vintage china and a lovely proper tea pot with loose leaf tea. The tea was very good and plenty of it. They could not have been more helpful and considerate and definitely went the extra mile for us. Poppy's is a really lovely and beautifully decorated tearoom with some gorgeous vintage pieces as well as small gifts and cards. We felt it was a really special place with lovely people and lovely food and we will definitely be back now we've found it! Thank you to them for giving us a happy end to what had been a very challenging day for us."
