Spent a night in the car park with the campervan and enjoyed a superb, home cooked meal and drinks which were excellent value. If you're in the area I cant recommend it highly enough View all feedback.
What 21farmwood doesn't like about The Travellers Rest:
I went for a Christmas lunch at this restaurant and was very disappointed. The turkey seemed reheated, the vegetables were tasteless, and the Christmas pudding was average. The pate starter was the only decent part of the three courses, but still just average. It was disappointing, especially since the pub has friendly staff. They just meet friends. a drink. very friendly staff and courteous. enforce strict signature in the rule and local distancing. I'm sure I'm worth a visit.
Eating was great, renter and renter were friendly. more beautiful place will go again.
Nice pub was never before just called in for a drink warm and happy welcome from the renter cozy pub with a good atmosphere recomend

Lovely food and staff, garlic bread a bit underdone and dry.
