My partner booked a three night stay for my 60th birthday, the hotel is beautiful and all the staff are lovely but I want to name one member of the restraunt team in particular and her name is Carol. Carol went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special and I really appreciated her thoughtfulness, she is a credit to the hotel. The hotel is in a perfect place for chester, cheshire oaks and chester zoo read more.

The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and be served in nice weather, and there is complimentary WiFi. The premises on site are accessible, and therefore no problem for guests with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

"I have been determined to get into Next Door for as long as the restaurant has been open! However on so many occasions it was not possible until the other week when we (myself and the girlfriend) with the facility of attending a birthday party. As I entered I found myself looking at a fabulous rural bijou place with olde worlde charm dripping from every corner of the restaurant. Now that's the decor discussed so on with the food and drink that was on offer and this was I promise you exquisite. I had a couple of beers that I have not sampled before to begin with and they were very nice. Then this was followed by some delicious red wine . Now I don't normally drink red wine but decided to on this occasion. Moving on to the food. Now it was a taster menu and every dish albeit small was quite stunning to behold and quite delicious. Augmenting that was a good informative description of each dish that was brought to our table. I must also add that they were quite filling as well. In sum an excellent meal in every respect and I cannot wait to go back."

"We enjoyed a delicious vegan brunch of homemade sausages, falafel hummus, with baked beans, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, homemade kartoffels and torts toast. the atmosphere was really cooled and the staff super friendly and helpful. impressed by the various options of plant milk we recommend the chai latte! too filled to try the cake today, but we will definitely be back soon"
