What papapieman likes about Red Lion:
Took a walk from our campsite on a scorching hot day to the nearby village of Dodleston. The Red Lion provided a welcome oasis. We were warmly greeted and seated before be given our menus and drinks orders (Pint of bitter shandy to quench the thirst for me). Ordered a range of food from lunch and kids menu. Was in there a week ago, food was bland, service was diabolical, atmosphere abysmal, waiting for a drink at the bar ridiculous, seems to give priority to the food side and ignore customers who want a drink, very poorly managed. View all feedback.
