This is a place I had wanted to visit for a while, we took our pooch, which proved to be a mistake as the tables were a bit close together. The food was stunning, I had the Steak Ale pie, and this was made on site. Everything on our plates was well flavoured and beautifully seasoned. The pie contained succulent chunks of steak. Well let’s translate : Fish Chunky Chips — more like Cremated Potato Wedges and over cook fish. The garnish has died 2 days ago… Must admit when my paper serviette was stuck to the grease on the table .. we should have perhaps walked.
