Ate here on our tour around Nova Scotia. Stopped to eat for the view, but really enjoyed the food, which was freshly cooked and tasty. The restaurant was busy with locals who were tucking in to large portions of fish and chips, always a good sign. It seemed to be picturesque, we trusted instinct, while we were eventually disappointed. sandwiches with lobster quite a dozen, cheesburger served without bread, but in a dish with mixed meat to chips and other things, all overly seasoned, and fried calamari but just too fried! Two stars because in my life I found several worst places, but I can't give more. read more.

Seafood was very good, would order seafood without fries they are frozen unless you enjoy them, without fries you get more seafood, excluding the seafood platte...

"There's nothing missing from this place. Quality coffee made properly by friendly people. I especially like that they've teamed up with 2 of the area's finest establishments for their baked goods and lunches. The atmosphere they've created in a refurbished barn is welcoming and comfortable, spacious and cozy. I'd move in if I could."

"I 'm all for Rebecca 's and wish them great success. The owners have done an exemplary job of trading up the boring interior of their new location for a colorful, interesting vibe. Great job on the renovations! The service at Rebecca 's is prompt and responsive. The food needs some attention. The salad was beautifully presented but the dressing needed a little livening up. The sandwich I had was slippery and I didn 't care for it at all. I will return to this place knowing that it will get much better as it goes along. It 's a welcome larger restaurant for Mahone Bay and the repairs they are making to the building will make it as attractive on the outside as it is on the inside. I went to Rebecca 's at their NEW location a second time this summer. The decor at this location is finally living up to its potential and the inside of the restaurant is super pleasant. There is also a stone patio with a wonderful view of Mahone Bay. Still, based upon the comments of my fellow company of six, I think Rebecca needs to totally rethink the menu over the winter and opt for very high quality pub food reminiscent of the Knot Pub in Lunenburg. God knows the local pub is awful, Rebecca 's sole Mahone Bay fine dining wannabe rival is mediocre at best, and the field is open for a really good BASIC food offering in Mahone Bay. Rebecca 's now has a wonderful space and she can make it happen if she chooses."
