I had no chance to try a lot from here, but absolutely love this place in terms of atmosphere and its beer garden! Definitely recommend!

Always worth a visit to chill out. Roof top terrace is the place .

one of the best roasts we had in a long time. delicious bark and sweet, all piss hot and very cheap. the minibread for a teddy the dog was an unexpected bonus....

"Amazing taster menu with fresh seasonal ingredients. The Hungarian dish was our favourite but they were all excellent. Staff were very friendly and informative. It is pricey but worth every penny. Posh without feeling like you had to wear a tuxedo!"

"We enjoyed a delicious vegan brunch of homemade sausages, falafel hummus, with baked beans, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, homemade kartoffels and torts toast. the atmosphere was really cooled and the staff super friendly and helpful. impressed by the various options of plant milk we recommend the chai latte! too filled to try the cake today, but we will definitely be back soon"

"Lovely, slightly off the beaten track eatery, we were made to feel very welcome with excellent friendly service. food was excellent and received helpful pointers as to what dishes contained meat and vegan dishes etc. My perogi were great and the bortsch that my wife...had aas excellent. "It's a lovely shop with quality foods. They make great Sandwiches. My favourite are the meat pies also have a wonderful selection of cheeses and meats. Very helpful staff that you only get in shops like Monks."
