What stephenb doesn't like about The Blue Bell 1494:
Average food expensive alcohol seated in a corner squashed in on uncomfortable seats;dont know why because there was plenty of room in restaurant friendly staff would not come back again. View all feedback. What Hilary Harper Mize likes about The Blue Bell 1494:
Although as always, I really enjoyed my meal I don't think the new tapas menu is as good as the old one . On the lunch time deal which is excellent value) most fish dishes have a supplement , the chicken and chorizo skewers are no longer on the menu and the new chicken wings have an overpowering sauce. read moreThe restaurant has received a mix of reviews from customers, with some praising the food and service while others were disappointed with their experience. While some customers enjoyed the authentic and tasty dishes, others found the food to be expensive and not as flavorful as expected. The staff received compliments for being friendly and helpful, although there were instances of overlooking details like wine service. The outdoor setting was appreciated by some, while others found the lack of ambiance disappointing. Overall, the restaurant seems to have its strengths and weaknesses, making it a mixed bag for potential diners to consider.
