I went there for my Christmas night out. I was over the Moon it was Friday, and it was buzzing with lots of people and a karaoke. we had a great time and will definitely be going there again. View all feedback.
What Bernie Harvey doesn't like about Black Bush:
Hosted my mams send off after her funeral. Staff are great but it's not for a great selection of tap beers. That being said it's got a nice feel to it and it felt homely. Good place to chill out and drink your cares away. View all feedback.
Went to try out the food yesterday, just after mid day, not one person in the place, no staff either, walked right through the two bars and straight back out again
Tried here after disappointment with Washington Arms. The drinks are much better but the clientele are the dregs of Washington. Some of the older ones should be institutionalised
Went for Sunday lunch, but the carvery standard was poor. The meat was nice, but that's about it. I got one tiny Yorkshire pudding, which had a distinct Aunt Bessie's look about it. The mashed potato was almost certainly instant mash if not I don't know how they managed to get it to be such a dry texture. My daughter refused to eat it and she LOVES mash. They also didn't even have a slice lemon for a tonic water.
Canny night out good a look at steve the dj/karaoke kerl really knows that he substance mix of music and patrick the renter is really friendly very recommended
Eating and service was amazing to a very reasonable price when they cooked to home delicious food and not the frozen food they want to get in a lot of pubs, I would really recommend the black bush to give a try
