"The sandwiches were okay, and the soups were delicious, but there were a couple of things you'll need to know before you order. One, when ordering a sandwich, they'll ask you if you'd like to substitute your chips with a cup of soup instead. I was very pleased with this offer until I found out after looking at my bill that they just charge you for an order of soup and take off 1$ for the chips. I didn't mind about the price, but I felt the offer was deceiving. Secondly, I noticed that when I added a tip to my order of 20%, they automatically calculated the total after tax, so you're tipping on tax as well as the meal. Again, I don't mind tipping, but if I had known, I would have just left a cash tip at the table. I don't feel they were trying to do this on purpose as they were very kind, but people should know this before so they can make an informed decision."

"Uncle Charlie should be classified as one of the best Kept Secrets from Chestertown. I say that, because if you're just passing by, you'll try out any other place in the city before you're happy enough to walk into this well-covered but surprisingly modern dining oasis. Once we discovered it, we were here again and again, enthusiastic every time with personal service that rival Blue Heron, a menu and specials, the rival Brooks, and enthusiastic homemade ice cream that reminds me of Jeni's Ice Cream back in Columbus."

"First time in Rock Hall and we tried one restraint and they were all over the place the right hand didn’t know what the left was doing . We stumbled across your restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. However one thing you should have 2 bar tenders at the large bar just my opinion., the young lady that was tending did a great job but was running like crazy ! I ordered a club sandwich and my wife ordered the crab cake again pleasantly surprised the food was awesome . My club was perfect and the crab cake was a bit spicy but excellent none the less . The hostess was awesome very polite and helpful our servers were great !! We will definitely return . Thank you to everyone!!"

"Great place with great improvements from previous owners. however, they have a small flat top in the kitchen and a large selection, which is very contrasting and slows down the production of the kitchen. otherwise it is a great place with great people. highly recommended if they don't mind waiting a minute. ps there are free wlan!"
