"A really pleasant hotel. Excellent restaurant. Rooms are beautiful, definitely better than the typical Adirondack family owned hotels. The location is close to Lake George Village. So if you cannot book a room in the village itself, Friends Lake Inn is a great place to stay. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 4"

"Great place but our waitress seemed very inexperienced. Service was slow but otherwise we had a lovely dinner. I know restaurants have generally had difficulty getting staff so I just chalked it up to that. Still, new staff should probably be a bit more monitored and assisted as needed. It's certainly on our list of places we'd be happy to go again."
