"This was our second visit in 3 days, and our experience was roughly the same. A number of the mains and sides were not available. I’ve never been anywhere that has run out of mashed potatoes before! Our salmon was cooked well, but quite salty. The cheesecake is a highlight and a must have. The service was friendly and good. Reservations are a must. The ambience and decor is good. There was a lofi beats soundtrack playing for a cool vibe. For the money, the experience didn’t hit the mark for us. It was not a good value. L’Abri is still the best place to eat in Chéticamp, but sadly that is due to very limited options."

"Walked in and felt like we were imposing. Was sat a table we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were sat and ignored for more than 10 mins felt this was a sign so we got up and left. If the food is anything like the service steer clear."

"Not many options when you visit early in the season in Cape Breton. Stopped here for lunch and left disappointed. Ordered the lobster club and veggie. As you can see in the pictures, it’s frozen vegetables that was boiled as it was completely water logged and mushy and wasn’t even seasoned. The lobster sandwich was decent, but at $35, it was expensive for about half the meat you would normally get in a lobster roll in NS. The fish and chip was ok $19) as the batter was crispy but very greasy on the plate as the fish wasn’t drained before serving. There are lots of settings and attached to a sport bar on the other side. The service was friendly, but can’t recommend to go back if we were ever in the area again. "Recommended by a local in Cheticamp for 'Fresh ' seafood. Located at the south end of town. Parking lot was full from open till close. Everything closes early here (8p). We went at 7p so that we could secure a table. They do take reservations. Service was fast and friendly. The food quality was awesome and fairly priced. It 's always great when you see all the Local Ladies back in the kitchen cooking with a passion. The sunset epic!! Available takeout and their fish market looked great."

"This is the pizza you crave, you want and you deserve! Order with plenty of time to spare cause this place is popular. The BBQ chicken pizza is absolutely the best I've ever had. Lots of chicken. Lots of cheese. Some mushrooms and onions, but just right. Medium thick crust. But the best? A BBQ sauce that kicks a . A pleasure to eat. Maybe the best food establishment in Chéticamp? Ok, the bakery rocks too."
