Istanbul Kabob Restaurant - Chetumal

Good food. Friendly. You even spoke English. Especially the spicy Jallepenos with cheese and chicken were great.

After some great leather shoe shopping, we could not help but notice a big red sign right over the street, 'Istanbul Kabob Restaurant '. Open to the street and notice several smiling customers we're fascinated, but a little hesitant, as this is Mexico and not Istanbul. The owner welcomes us, she is very friendly and shows her chief credentials she deserves in Belize. The place is very clean, bright and busy with locals, so we decide to try it. My wife chose the chicken stuff Jalepeno Paprika and the rest of us three had the beef gyros. Unbelievable!! Especially the paprika! The best we had and the gyros were also delicious. We washed everything with freshly made melon juice. We chose watermelons and our friends had the green melon juice. Light and refreshing!! This will definitely be one of our favorite restaurants when we come to Chetumal.
