Great Nepalese and Indian restaurant in a shopping strip just off the highway. Great lunch stop on our way north from colorado. Lunch platters were perfect coming with rice, naan (option to upgrade to garlic naan) and dessert (rice type pudding). Everything was fantastic and the Naan was light and thin unlike a lot of the heavier and thicker versions I’ve had. Definitely will stop again next time through town!Vegetar... View all feedback.
What Livie R doesn't like about Durbar Nepalese Indian Bistro:
The atmosphere is nice and the staff is too, but I'm sorry, this place doesn't taste like the true and authentic Indian food I'm used to in India. I've visited the country plenty of times and unfortunately a lot of the dishes have been Americanized or substituted. The curry chicken wasn't bad, but it was mostly spicy tomato soup and not that many bits of chicken. I've never paid $14 for a dinner and received items in... View all feedback.
First visit and ordered from their lunch menu. Goa fish curry. Excellent! Yummers! Delightful! Food diversity in Wyoming is limited, so I'm happy to find this place. Can't wait to return and see full dinner menu. Service was great, and the establishment is clean.
I'm a huge Indian food fan, but this was all pretty disappointing after seeing the great ratings of others. Took 20 mins and 2 reminders to get our drinks. Took 40 mins, 2 reminders, and our main meal coming for them to remember we'd ordered an appetizer. Food was average, and found a sharp bone fragment in the butter chicken. If this had been my first time eating Indian, I probably wouldn't again.
Really good food. The wait staff friendly and very helpful. Lots of choices including vegetarian choices.Vegetarian options: Many choices.
My husband and I were here for Father’s Day cause he wanted a “complex” taste in flavors and I decided to come here! And y’all did not disappoint, Santos our waiter was amazing!! Not only that the food was good the service was amazing!! My in laws are coming in August and we are for sure coming here! Oh! And I can’t forget the military discount, thank you for having that sort of option and supporting!
I love this restaurant and quite frankly, it's our favorite place to eat in Cheyenne. I always order something different every time we go and have never had a bad meal. Also, the owner and his family are incredibly kind and heart warming people which definitely adds to the experience. Order the Samoas!
