This was my first time at Due Lire. It's a neighborhood gem I'd say. The menu is not huge, which is perfectly fine and kind of appreciated, because what they do they do really really well. The pasta is super fresh, as are the ingredients. The sauces are well balanced and well flavored. The salads are excellent. We typically love the food but it was not as good as usual. I had the caccio e pepe special and it was gooey.
