Cute place! Ash was the best bartender. Go for happy hour!!

I'd been a very long day at work, and the two of us were searching for a place to have a late-night dinner in Chicago. We picked G&O, having always been intrigued. It was a great choice. Cool vibe--super-casual, bit open garage door onto a patio. Noticeable music, but not overwhelmingly loud. Great beer list, featuring some local stuff. Much more interesting menu than your typical bar. And really welcoming, friendly service. Fried chicken was on special, with mashed potatoes. And it was totally, memorably delicious.

Absolutely delicious! Such a fun spot to pop into. Very intimate bar with a great outdoor seating area in the warmer months. The food is very high quality and the drinks are fantastic as well. The service is very attentive and the staff was very helpful.

Big bang for your buck here at this tasty little spot. Walking distance from my partner’s place, this restaurant has some delicious comfort food options. We had the Mac cheese, elote, and fried green tomato sandwich. The main issue was that we were here over the summer and there wasn’t AC that was working. It was super hot inside and the leather booth made my leggies feel uncomfortable. Honestly, willing to look past the heat/leg thing bc the food was luscious. Yum!
