"Arrived to pick up our order on Friday and they did not have it ready. The man was very rude and claimed we never even placed the order. After a couple of minutes he actually found our order but instead of putting it down for Friday they put it down for Tuesday. Prior to that we had to even prove on our phone that we actually did call Highway bakery because he just would not believe us. So they wrote down the wrong date but refused to admit that they did. He said he would support his employee rather than the customer and said that we were not telling the truth. I am totally done with Highway bakery. We left there and went down to Pearson's who were wonderful and gave us just what we want it"

"On that last night of our short weekend visit to Chicago with our Son who is attending Chicago U, we decided to order take-out to our hotel from Medici based on reputation and positive reviews. I ordered a Bacon-Bleu Cheese Burger which even had an asterisk beside the menu item warning of eating raw or uncooked meat may cause foodborne illness. When ordering, I specifically ordered a WELL DONE burger!!!!! Through the online app. When the order arrived we all unpacked it and when I cut into the burger I was appalled to see that my burger was virtually RAW!!! This was extremely disappointing! The last meal of our weekend visit was ruined for me by this barely cooked burger!!! You should be ashamed!! We will never be ordering from Medici again on next visit! Avoid at all costs!"

"Honestly I don’t know what the hype is about, it was my first time trying this place and I definitely should’ve just walk across and down the street to Zacatacos! Those are some bomb ? tacos! ? let’s not talk about the drinks, they only offer orchata and sodas no other agua fresca. Zacatacos meat is juicy flavorful here it’s just bland dry, they go over board with the cilantro ? l think it’s to cover the dry meat they serve."
