What Hugo Downs doesn't like about Local Market Foods:
PROS: Lovely store, well stocked with decent produce, smells much better than it did when it first opened. I recently moved to this area, and decided to do a a tour of 71st and Jeffery to see what type of stores are over here. I had NO idea this nice little supermarket existed! I purchased a watermelon that is sweeter than any I have gotten from other stores(Jewel, Sav-A-Lot, etc). I also brought corn on the cob juicy and sweet, not hard.
