Went for dinner with a friend. Had been awhile since I had visited. Fantastic meal! Intimate space that's great for catching up. Enjoyed our meal at the bar. Service was super friendly and attentive. We shared plates. Everything was delicious. Standouts were a gnocchi with mushrooms, the whole fish in a delicious red pepper sauce, and gambas in a deliciously garlicky butter. What wooglin721 doesn't like about Mfk.:
Tried several dishes. Overall impression is good. But, at around $14+ per small plate, it’s just not worth it. Mostly a reinterpretation of tapas that come for nearly free at many bars in Spain and Portugal. That aside, as tapas go, it just does not live up to the reviews. Service was good. Patatas braves and croquettes were mush. And 3 mussels on a crostini with a bland goat cheese was a serious gouge at $14. View all feedback.
