Contribute FeedbackLocated in a neighborhood with a new Sushi/Tai restaurant, this spot offers a tasty dining experience. The Sushi is fresh and interesting, while the Tai dishes are delicious. The service is friendly and welcoming. However, the small venue can get crowded and only has one server on busy nights, leading to slow service. The BYOB policy is a plus, as is the opportunity to bring alcohol. Overall, the food is great and the atmosphere is cozy. This restaurant is recommended for those looking for a pleasant meal in a relaxed setting.
We dined at this restaurant on a Friday night and upon arrival, we found that there were only a few customers. Initially, I wasn't very impressed with the setting, as it had a diner-like atmosphere. However, the staff was friendly and the place appeared to be clean. They don't serve alcohol, but you are allowed to bring your own. Since we were headed to a play nearby after dinner, I opted for a coke to liven up. For our appetizer, we decided on the mini chicken eggrolls, which were delicious along with the sweet and sour sauce that accompanied them. My husband ordered a sushi combo plate and I chose the pad thai, both of which were really tasty. Although I'm not a fan of raw fish, I tried his rolls and found them to be fresh. My pad thai was piping hot and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness in the sauce. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. As we were leaving, the place started to get more crowded.
The food was delicious, but the service was slow because there was only one server working. Even after we received our food, the server was too busy to check on us for refills. The small venue meant we were sitting very close to other diners, making it hard to have a private conversation.
VERY slow serice and only three or four tables occupied. The waitress came by *maybe* twice in two hours...I had to go up to the sushi counter and order myself and it still took much too long for the food to come out. All in all the food was okay, not the best but not the worst, but I was so turned off by the serive that I will not return.
YUM. Love the Spicy Basil Fried Rice and apparently the sushi is good too (I'm not a fan, but my friend RAVE about the price vs. yumminess factor Not a ton of restaurants within walking distance and SO thrilled that this is. Both dine-in and takeout are great options. And BYOB with no corkage My neighborhood fave.
Sushi was fresh, interesting, and tasty; service was friendly and personable. It's a small place but nicely laid out tables aren't jammed up against each other. Great adddition to the neighborhood!
