I've lived in Chicago my whole life and have tried countless pizza places. Tortorice is by far the best. The default we order is a double dough w olives, mushrooms and sausage. The dough is crispy on the outside but soft internally, and super tasty. The sauce is out of this world, just the right amount of sweetness to it. The pizza is always out in less than 30 minutes. This is real Chicago-style pizza. Extra thin, spicy sauce, well made. That's the way. The way of Tortorice is also incredible. Personal anecdote: I ordered a pizza as I explained above and it came wrong, I called to report it, and although they were 15 minutes from closing, they offered me another. Shortly later, the woman I spoke to on the phone brought her to me in her car on her way home. I wish I got her name, but that was the night of 4/1/22, and she did my evening. I love this place
Was in town for the night and came across this place on google . The ratings were good and the reviews too! I must say I am happy we did try it out! The pizza was phenomenal and the wings, well let's just say the meat slide right off the bone! It was a great find for a Friday night in the city!!
