"Such a shame. I was having a lovely meal and an enjoyable evening with my family for my birthday. When we booked the table we were offered either 6.30pm or 8pm. We booked 6.30, We found it very rude of the waiter to bring our bill over at 8pm, when we had only just finished eating and were still had our drinks There was no offer of dessert or coffee, just pay up and get out. We hadn't realised that we had to be out the resturant by 8pm. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"

"Ordered a simple pizza from just eat.. 2 hours later I’m still waiting. Phoned the restaurant asking for an update and they “cannot help” and told me to phone just eat no offer of assistance or ‘let me look into it’! I mean how hard is it to tell me if a pizza has been cooked and picked up. Wonder how long I’ll need to wait. I’ll keep posting updates. They’ll take your money quick enough. But 100% do not order a takeaway. Service: Delivery"

"Came in mid week for a family birthday and to start with we were the only ones there. Both staff on duty very friendly and happy to help in any way. Food was brilliant and attention to food intolerance was spot on. More people came in later on and the atmosphere remained the same, peaceful, welcoming and a genuinely good local pub. We’ll be coming back again for sure."

"Good old traditional pub opposite Priory Park. We have been here many times for the Friday night Fish and Chips 2 for 1 deal. Unbeatable value. The Park Tavern is always popular on Friday night so pre booking is advisable. A healthy portion of battered fish and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce hits the spot every time. There is a good selection of beers at the bar. The atmosphere is buzzing and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful! Definitely a go to pub/restaurant. The Park Tavern also has a full and tasty menu as well!"
