We’ve eaten at The Goodwood Hotel before but this was our first experience of Farmer,Butcher,Chef. The restaurant was relaxed with quirky, mainly farming themed decorations. Staff were very helpful not pushy at all. We both had the steak chips which was delicious. A bottle of Rioja a cheesecake to finish all made for a wonderful experience of locally produced food. Usually when we come to Farmer butcher chef the food is outstanding. But on this occasion our Sunday lunch was terrible I would rather eat at Toby carvery than the food I got today. The starters where nice and so where the bar snacks but the roasts almost in edible and the Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes were disgraceful (time to replace the new chef).
