We found this cafe really nice with a friendly owner, who judging by some comments on here doesn't suffer fools gladly and why should he! The sandwiches and coffee were very nice and fresh. don't be put off by the negative comments and also be aware he is closed on Monday and Tuesday (although on this site it says only Monday. View all feedback.

What marktA5828CH doesn't like about Old Mill Cafe:
Turned up and were greeted by the rudest man ive ever met. Cannot revue food as we left. I think one of the problems was we were utility workers and he did not want us there. We have no problems in Kirdford and Plaistow. They were most welcoming. View all feedback.

We had a quick stop here on the way to Goodwood. Hot chocolate and cannoli were out of this world!! Italian owner was very sweet too! Thank you
