My sister and I were looking for a nice place to eat and decided on Jake's. Everything was amazing! My sister had a delicious hot dog dinner with a side dish, and I had the steak dinner with potato salad. We also enjoyed an appetizer of mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon, served with ranch dressing on the side. Everything was so delicious! We even had leftovers to take home. What User doesn't like about Jake's Rib:
I recently dined at a restaurant in Oklahoma City and had a great experience. The meal was a bit pricey, but well worth it for the delicious BBQ. The sides were also tasty and plentiful. The prices were reasonable and the staff was helpful and friendly. Some people complained about the wait time, but I believe that is to be expected at a popular and busy restaurant. Our friend has suggested this place. it was a 40-minute drive from where we were and it was definitely worth it! we sat immediately on a Saturday night and had a party of 7. the prices were great, so that was eating and the service. I had the ripe flour that came with two sides. big parts. they have recommended the biggest side of fritten ever! definitely!
We had been driving all day and were looking for someplace that was unique and not a chain restaurant. Jake's rib did not disappoint. The atmosphere is laid back and everyone was friendly. The food portions were huge, come hungry. The ribs smoked turkey and the sausage was excellent. The sides were just as good. The fried green tomatoes were our favorite. The prices were reasonable too.
Absolutely love this place. Most restaurants make smaller portions for carry out. Not the case for Jake's. I ordered extra for this reason. Now I have enough food for a couple days. Thanks for the wonderful food. You all are amazing. Will definitely be coming back for sure.
Worst ribs I have ever had (and I have eaten BBQ in the pacific NW). They were undercooked and firmly attached to the bone. The ribeye was just ok. The disappointment was real.
I can’t say enough about this place. Some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. Great prices. I had 2 meat combo that was 18.99 and had leftovers for 2 days. Will definitely be going back!
