"We discovered this local restaurant whilst staying for two weeks in the Riu Chiclana. We always venture out even if we are staining all inclusive and this didn't disappoint. Whilst we would admit it is a bit of an uninspiring location situated above the SuperSol supermarket, please do not be put off!! We went on a Friday night and having looked totally British by studying the menu in Spanish outside and not really knowing what was what, a friendly face soon greeted us and offered us a menu in English. We sampled the risotto and potatoes and broken eggs to start and both were extremely tasty. We had the Iberian pork cheeks and duck to follow. The pork cheeks were to die for and we would recommend. The duck was nice but am not convinced that the combination with goats cheese works but if you don't try you don't know! We would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area; service was fantastic and I must admit that my husband and I felt somewhat embarrassed at not being able to converse in Spanish!! Please visit for a little bit of something different. The decor is modern and you can eat outside with a view. Service was great and this really is a gem"
