Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes

The restaurant itself wasn't good. The siding was coming off the seating divider, 2 of the 3 washrooms were closed. Pop machine still broken, seen reviews from months ago and seems its been broken since. The remaining one was dirty, crowded and had no paper towel. We ordered 3 burgers, it took around 15-20 minutes to get the food. The food was okay but not for the high price.

Place was filthy. 2/3 bathrooms were out of order and the remaining one has a mountain of garbage overflowing from the bin (doesn’t get cleaned). Nobody who works there was following covid protocols. People were going from handling cash to preparing food with no gloves on. Fountain machine out of order. Shoestring onions that were once offered are no longer on the menu at this location (far from the biggest grievance) This was a great place to grab a burger at one point but is a strong avoid now.

This happened to be the only restaurant within walking distance of our hotel and I'm glad it was! Similar to Five Guys, it's a make your own burger type of establishment. The food was really good including the turkey burger, hamburger and hot dogs. The list of available toppings is extensive and includes, for free, many that most restaurants would charge extra for such as onion rings and fried mushrooms. The sweet potato fries were excellent as well.Only downside was the long wait to order and get our food, likely due to the fact that the staff consisted entirely of teenagers who were mostly goofing around instead of taking and preparing orders. Other than that, an excellent experience and I hope to see this chain prosper!

Something a little different. Select your own toppings, bun or lettuce wrap. A lot of the toppings are free with patty but you pay extra for cheese, bacon etc. My hubby had the beef burger on a fresh cooked whole wheat bun. He added his choice of toppings which he said were very tasty. I opted for the salad and chicken on the side. I was very pleased with the salad (1/2 order) it had so much in it and was way beyond what I expected from a burger place. Great portions and really fresh ingredients. We will visit this one again.

Great burgers, great fries and great shakes. Took the whole family there and we loved it. Pricey but worth it as the quality was fantastic. We will be going back there again for sure.
