This is a delightful wine bar right in the center of town. I stopped in on Saturday night, but it was packed (but the ambiance was delightful, so I had to go back). My husband and I had a couple of glasses of wine here during our recent week long stay in Chinon. The owner is pleasant and can offer some note-worthy local vin options. The place is certainly well located and fuss free. Some local beer brews a can also be purchased to drink there or take away. One of the owners is French Canadian and speaks English quite well.
