"My daughter and I drove all day from Houston to attend a funeral tomorrow. We arrived exhausted and ready for a good hot meal. We found this gem not far from our hotel and arrived 30 minutes prior to closing. Having worked in the restaurant business, I know that isn't ideal and asked if it would be better to order some quick food to go. We were politely told there was plenty of time, and encouraged to sit and enjoy ourselves. The food was great (especially the fried pickles! , but the service was phenomenal! Everyone was so friendly and it really made a rough day so much better. I am thankful for such kindness and yummy food! Also, having to travel so far without my husband, it was reassuring to have a well lit parking lot with plenty of close parking available. Not only did we feel welcome, but we felt safe."

"Went with my cousin Raymond Burns and he was correct, the food was delicious and perfect in every way. I'm going back for sure . It's worth asking the locals. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level and a tiny ramp very convenient for anyone. Service: Dine in"
