"The atmosphere was very fitting the the food they serve. However as a first time guest all the items we wanted was out...Ribs, brisket...all beef items. However side note The Bambi is not deer it is chicken...which was another bummer for me. Needless to say I tried the fried fish, mac and cheese and fried Okra- the Fish was seasoned to perfection nice crunch and nice juicy meat (catfish) excellent job on the fish, the Okra was okay The Mac and cheese well my kiddos loved it. The potato salad not all that, the smoke chicken had a nice smokey flavor and was paired well with the BBQ sauce the meat was juicy not overcooked nor dry....(which made me want the ribs all the more). My son had a hot dog with fried Okra and he enjoyed it. My daughter had chicken tenders which tasted like it was made in house and not frozen which was a good thing (not sure but if that is true but bonus points if they were) We also tried the Brunswick stee which was good and there is also a self serve salad bar for an extra fee. The drinks were served in masons jars which gives a nice country flare. Side note: the bathroom was super clean which was a big plus because it's only 1 for males and 1 for females. Over all the fish and chicken we had was excellent even though I had my heart set on Ribs or brisket...so if you are ever in Chipley,FL they are worth a drop in for a true southern down home meal."

"There was a dirty oven mitt in my food!! If that wasn't bad enough the menu online ingredients were different, and was made in the wrong sauce. And online it said my meal was $13, and it was $26! Then they added in a tip, and I had no choice to decide they don't deserve a tip.The owner argued with me and accused me of lying about what sauce I told her!!! First and last time I will be eating in this this unsanitary restaurant and the rudest owner I have ever encountered. I have been in the restaurant business as a server for over 20 years and this is beyond unacceptable sanitation and customer service. I hope this post helps to shut it down!"

"I went to this place to lunch to eat the buffet. I'm vegetarian. one of the workers noticed that I had the pizzas on the buffet “stopp” (looking for one without meat) and asked myself if I needed something. I told her what I did and she said, "we will do you what you want, give us a minute." 5 to 10 minutes later she brought 2 slices of fresh cheese pizza on my table! and then repeated this service for a second time with a few slices of veggie lovers! I wish I had got her name (that was at 12:00 a.m., maybe a manager? not a server, although our was amazing.) for someone like me who sometimes finds out to eat a challenge meant much to me. above and beyond the service."
