"It's exactly what you expect from a family restaurant: simple, American -style food, done well. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was good, the only thing I would change is that is eggs were a bit over done. That was more than made up for by the crispy and delicious hash browns. The real highlight was the potato pancakes. They are huge, as big as a dinner plate, and crispy and delicious. Served with a side of apple sauce, they are amazing. I would go back just for the potato pancakes."

"Epitome of a Northwestern Wisconsin supper club .............fantastic salad bar with ample variety of ingredients and awesome Old Fashions whiskey and brandy drinks.They even have after dinner drinks such as Smith and Kearns and a variety of ice cream drinks.Reminds me of the old Gateway Inn (that burnt down in the 90s), that was located north of Bloomer and was renowned for their service and food back in the day.
