"Our tour group (Gate stopped at Alpaca Chef on the way back from Colca Canyon. The restaurant itself is beautiful and you are treated scenic views of Pre-Incan terraces as you eat. The food was outstanding, particularly the corn soup, alpaca, and lomo saltado....You can tell that all of the ingredients are fresh and that the food is prepared with love. Señora Juanita is a beautiful person and takes an immense amount of pride in the food that she makes. I honestly felt like I was being welcomed into her home and that I was a part of her family. Thank you Señora Juanita for a truly wonderful experience!"
