The Cloche Hat - Chobham

What User likes about The Cloche Hat:
they kept our table despite very late and stayed late open to end our meal. food was excellent, especially dessert and the service attentive and fun. great place toasty warm thanks to a heating in the middle of the room. Nice are roasted vegetables (so not cooked over my opinion gradually and delicious) and the additional cost does not make any significant difference, especially as they can be divided between two. What User doesn't like about The Cloche Hat:
The food was mediocre overcooked scollops for starters and duck was nice but not overwhelming and side of root veg also overcooked. The staff tried really hard and the young waitress was lovely but obviously learning which was fine. We started in the bar, which although had a lovely fire the smell of smoke was like being next to a bonfire on an Autumn day the bar could do with a make over in comfort hard wooden stool...
