"Outrageously delicious. Imagine the best tasting Indian meal you’ve ever eaten, then know this is better. Last night in Christchurch tonight for a while and wanted a curry, I’m usually somewhat skeptical about curry in AU and NZ after living in ‘home of the balti’ in Birmingham, UK and It’s with utter luck I stumbled upon this absolute hidden gem. The only thing that surprised me about this place was the fact it wasn’t packed to the rafters with a waiting list to book. Every herb and spice perfectly placed and the flavour was to die for, and quite simply the best cheese and garlic naan I have ever eaten. The owner/front house is well mannered, prompt and very friendly. Myself and my partner left incredibly full! If I could score more than 5 I would. Highly recommend anyone who hasn’t tried this place. I’ll look forward to visiting again in feb next year!"

"A really beautiful decoration, that is bright, and minimalist. the great is eating is pure vegan without wobble and garlic. this is particularly difficult to find for Western foods. "You know you are on to a good thing if you walk in on a rainy Monday night and the place is packed. The sashimi is fresh and rather good. Served on a bed of micro herbs and salads, I couldn’t help but demolished it in 10 minutes. The stand out were the red prawns, exactly how I imagined them to be. The beef tataki was rather good too... the little flakes of crispy garlic, paper thin slices of Parmesan, the dressing spot on. Again thinly sliced onion and salad nicely complemented the dish. <br/>Definitely give it a go, you won’t be disappointed."

"Let's be honest, the vegan pickings in this town is slim. So why not try a hybrid place! The owner's wife is the mastermind behind vegan delicatessen Grater Goods and the provider of the beautiful vegan deli platter. The fried chicken is more like schnitzel. The hand-cut fries with the vegan aioli are made in heaven. Beautiful craft beer, even if you're a lagerhead be bold, venture out."

"Went here with a friend for brunch. Made a booking online which was really easy, and was glad I did as it was quite busy. Service was attentive and friendly. I had a smoothie which was delicious, and the truffle scrambled eggs which were really tasty. Good portion size. The decor is really nice, and feels lush and intimate. Great place for breakfast or brunch!"
